Job Description
Senior Nursing Staff is responsible for supervising nursing operations, providing quality patient care, guiding junior nursing staff, coordinating with doctors, and ensuring compliance with hospital standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients according to their medical needs.
Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, treatment response and overall condition.
Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids and other treatments as prescribed by doctors.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, surgeries and emergencies.
Supervise and guide junior nurses and nursing assistants.
Allocate nursing duties and manage shift responsibilities.
Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes and treatment documentation.
Ensure proper medication management and follow the Five Rights of medication administration.
Handle emergency situations and provide BLS/CPR support when required.
