CNJobs.in ("we", "us", "the Platform") is an online recruitment platform operated by S.C. Pareek, proprietor of Aditya Consultancy, JI 37, Harekarshan Avenu, Ambe Market, Meera Nagar, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan – 312001, India. We help job seekers, employers and educational institutes connect with each other.

This policy follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

The Platform is meant for persons 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, please do not register. If we learn that personal data of a minor has been collected without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, we will delete it.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which we ask for when you sign up or complete your profile. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 9), as easily as you gave it.

Withdrawal does not affect anything we did lawfully before it. After withdrawal, we may no longer be able to provide some or all services to you.

We collect only what is needed to run the Platform.

• To create and manage your account.
• To match job seekers with suitable jobs, including match scores and job recommendations.
• To show a job seeker's profile to employers when the job seeker applies to their job, or when the employer views matching candidates.
• To send job alerts, profile reminders, plan and billing emails, and service messages by email or WhatsApp.
• To process payments and issue invoices.
• To support campus placement and tieups between institutes and employers.
• To provide customer support, keep the Platform safe, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements.

• Employers: job-seeker profiles, as described in Section 5.
• Institutes and employers: basic information for campus tieups and placement drives.
• Service providers who help us run the Platform: hosting (DigitalOcean), payments (Cashfree), email delivery (Resend, Google Workspace), sign-in with Google, and WhatsApp messaging (Meta). They receive only the data needed for their task. Some of them may process data on servers outside India, as permitted under Indian law.
• Government or courts: when required by law, court order or a lawful authority.
• A new owner: if CNJobs.in is merged or sold, your data may be transferred, and it will remain protected under this policy.

We take reasonable security safeguards to protect your personal data, including:

• Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.
• The website and payments use SSL / HTTPS.
• Access to the database and servers is limited to authorised persons.

If we become aware of a personal data breach that affects you, we will:

• Inform the affected users and the Data Protection Board of India, as required by law.
• Tell you what happened and what steps you can take to protect yourself.
• Take reasonable steps to limit the damage.

• Access: ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
• Correction: update your details yourself from your profile, or ask us to correct them.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your account and personal data.
• Withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it.
• Nominate: name a person who can exercise these rights on your behalf in case of your death or incapacity.
• Grievance: raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (Section 12).
• Opt-out: unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.

To use any of these rights, email privacy@cnjobs.in from your registered email address. We may ask you to verify your identity first.

• Active accounts: as long as the account is active.
• Inactive accounts: may be deleted after 3 years without login.
• Deleted accounts: removed within a reasonable time, normally 30 days; backup copies are cleared as part of the regular backup cycle.
• Payment and invoice records: 8 years, as required by Indian tax laws.
• Login and security logs: at least 1 year, as required by law.

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may then stop working.

We will try to resolve your concern as soon as possible, and in any case within the time allowed by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. For important changes, we will also inform users by email or a notice on the Platform.

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chittorgarh, Rajasthan shall have jurisdiction.
