Job Description
TGT/PGT Mathematics is responsible for teaching Mathematics, developing students' analytical and problem-solving abilities, conducting assessments, and providing academic guidance in accordance with the prescribed school curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics according to the CBSE/State Board/School curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and teaching materials.
Explain mathematical concepts using practical examples and activity-based methods.
Develop students' logical reasoning, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular tests, quizzes, assignments and examinations.
Evaluate answer sheets and maintain students' academic records.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial and individual support.
Prepare question papers, practice papers and revision materials.
Use digital tools, smart classes and ICT-based teaching methods where required.
